The Clans Arise:
Year:
2012
Place:
Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
The Story:
Humans have decided that they no longer want the Gifted around.
Spurred by a fleet of about five moles working for the government who have disguised themselves as clan members (two have been found out and 'dealt' with, according to clan leader judgment), the Human race now have have captured clan members of every stature, and are holding them hostage. They have been given permission to torture and kill even children. Every month a notice is sent out to the citizens of Victoria, saying that if the clan members do not submit to their demands, more and more will die, and the tortures will become worse.
The clan leaders are in disarray; some say that they should bow to the demands, while still others think they should fight. Meetings are held almost every night, and yet still none are coming to a conclusion.
Meanwhile, in the prison hold, the prisoners look to clan leaders and elders of any clan for guidance. Four come out of the darkness to lead and comfort the rest; three men and one woman. They calm the prisoners and keep them safe, healing the wounded and protecting the young.
The humans are mercilessly torturing and killing the Gifted prisoners. Some, however, are completely against it, and a small band of humans form a radical group called the Liberators. The Liberators work to save the prisoners by negotiation, force and then tactics. They manage to release most of the Children first and some adults. They take the gifted they saved into their custody for healing, as the gifted will not let them take them back to their clans home base, in fear of being raided.
