((Anyone may join in, lets see how exciting we can make this day, yes? )) "I think I will take nine..... Nine of those." The small, feminine hand pointed to a large bundle of white lilies, their petals almost as smooth and delicate as her face. The shopkeeper looked out from over his newspaper, and at the girl. She was a strange one, strange but pretty in her own way. Her rather tribal dress must have signaled some kind of high school quote. Her face turned to look at him, eyes daring him to oppose her wishes. "Well?" The shopkeeper sighed and got to his feet. After mere moments, he was cutting the stems off the flowers to a more suitable length. That tiny hand slid a twenty farther onto his table. Sighing again, he handed her the lilies. Without another word, Cressek turned and left. The shopkeeper called out to her. "Excuse me miss, your forgetting your change!" She turned to wink at him, slyness seeping from her gray eyes. "Am I?" Confused, he looked after her, and nearly fell off his seat when two loonies and four dimes rolled after her across the floor; perfect change, perfectly in balance. His heart almost stopped. It was one of them! Her outfit had nothing to do with some fancy little group, it was her own choice! How he detested them, daring to show their faces in his shop, no matter which little club they belonged to. ~*'~*~'*~ Cressek burst into laughter as the shop door closed behind her, the look on the man's face! She didn't mind normal humans, but nothing beat scaring one into the next century! Flowers in hand, she walked the road that lead to the graveyard- such a lovely, relaxing, place. Just what she needed. Her eyes burned in the sunlight, just a little too bright for Cressek's liking. But they were relieved when she sat beneath her one favorite tree, in the very back corner of the graveyard. She sat, twisting her dress out of the way to protect it from whatever impurities might have been on the ground. Sighing, she made herself comfortable and pulled out the lilies. Choosing one, her hands pulled a particularly white couple from their elastic and began to knot them together, eventually bringing more out and twisting them into a perfect loop. Just finished, Cressek giggled, lifting the perfect circle of large, white, flower and green stem to her head. Gently, she let it drop so it sat naturally amongst her red pigtails. She had no doubts that she now looked like a fairy, but why not? If you were different from 99.999 percent of the earth's population, why not act it?

As the woman walked out of the store, laughing, something was watching her. Deep, yellow eyes, with holes in them as black as the midnight sky. It's ears pricked forward in the shadows as she watched the woman, growling with recognition. The woman made her way to the cemetery; and the thing followed her. It was a strange sight, if there was a sight to behold at all. The creature was a phantom in midday, not a small feat for something so large in the middle of Esquimalt; one of the busiest places in Victoria. It slipped from tree to tree, from grave to grave, keeping downwind of her person of interest. Suddenly the creature ducked in the shadows of a large tomb, one of the few in the cemetery, as a couple walked past, hand in hand. They didn't notice the gray wolf, and the creature managed to escape without recognition. Although, everyone in town knew her as one of the Lords, they didn't want to have anything to do with her.
The wolf, having the woman on the bench in sight, started at a slow trot, building until she was running at full tilt. Right at the woman. Then, just as she was almost upon her, something strange happened. Something... very strange. It was in the space of a split second, a millisecond- a microsecond. With one mighty twitch of her deep pelt, the wolf changed into a fully grown, fully clothed woman, who was then sitting on the bench as if there was nothing that had happened. The woman wore a pair of dark gray blue jeans, a white T-Shirt, a sweater and a trench coat. On her eyes were deep black sunglasses, and her feet were clad in comfortable, old looking white runners. As a couple passed them by, possibly the same one she'd seen earlier, Ava tilted her glasses down on her nose and stared at the other woman. "Good afternoon," she said kindly, smiling as if she was meeting with an old friend again. Then, she added bluntly; "I saw what you did in Friv's; you are a mental. My name is Ava- and you are...?"

Ava had surprised her. At the sudden sight of the transformation, Cressek had grasped for the sheathed blade she held hidden amongst her skirts. It was not to transformation that had startled her; though one could never be cautious enough, but the sudden air of leadership she felt inthe area. This was not an ordinary shifter, but some form of alpha in her own kind. Eyes locked on Ava's face for a moment longer, Cressek pulled her hand from her blade and instead tended to her flower crown, lopsided from her quick reaction. The girl then turned to smile at the one named Ava, Cressek's gray eyes glimmered, even in the shade. "It is a pleasant afternoon, isn't it." Gently, she took both hands and placed them in her lap. "Yes, I am as Mental as you are Shifter; a beautiful wolf you make by the way." A light intake of breath and a slight shifting on the bench. "My name is Cresseka, but Cressek is muchly prefered. Might I ask the reason for your arrival?" Though they had hardly met, Cressek liked Ava already. This was not someone the Mental could mess with.

Ava took the time to examine the young mental; she was beautiful. Basically, she could have left it at that. She had long red hair. Green eyes, soft fair skin. Well damn, she thought jokingly, she has my hair and my eyes. Ava, naturally, had dark almost black hair and has always wanted green eyes. She always wished she were some one different. Although, life had been going well for her so far. She was a wolf shifter and in charge of the Tallyshir clan... That thought jolted her back to reality. She was trespassing on some ones territory. Perhaps, if she was lucky, she wouldn't be caught. Luck seemed to have been on her side lately. The beautiful young woman adjusted her seating position just so, so as she could properly shake hands with the other woman.
Ava leaned forward and made a quick sweep of her eyes, looking about them to see if anyone else were coming. Nope, no one. She relaxed a little, her smile becoming more and more natural, showing off her snow white teeth as she did so. "You're right, I am a shifter. And I find being a wolf comes in handy when you're rushing into a fight, wouldn't you say?" Ava's voice wasn't deep, but rich, and very very warm. It was kind of like a summer breeze; her voice. She never thought of it that way, but that was why people trusted her so much. It seems ludicrous, and there are a slew of other reasons but, off the bat, her calm kind voice is a big reason. And her smile. She smiled a lot, and none of this fake smiling stuff either, that politicians put on as they're kissing baby's foreheads. She was the head of the least terrifying clan, then one most likely to help an injured whelp rather than eat one. She sat back on the bench so her back rested on it, and sighed. "My name is Ava Brown, I am the head of the Tallyshir Clan. It is a pleasure to meet you, Cressek. So, what clan are you of?"

ooc:// mind if I butt in? [[I’ve grown to colorblind to cease my bitching]] {{And I’ve grown to love the pain}} A nice little stroll threw the local death camp. Ah how nice. Maybe Raven should have stayed back in an alley. At least untill the sun went down. The burning light hurt her eyes, so acustom to blackness. A tall girl stood, the sulight casting a deep shadow far behind her lean form. She was a teenager and should have been in school right now. If she was normal maybe she would be. But she had no parents to enrole her. Raven's jet black hair waved in a light breeze. It felt nice. Thanks to the hot weather she wasn't able to wear her hoodie, so she was stuck with arm warmers. Which were even hotter than the damn hoodie if you asked her.
Raven's emerald eyes falshed across the cemetary. Tombstones stood, shimmering with heat in the sunlight. And two wemon sat on a bench. The teenager's lips twitched. How nice. A couple waiting for the zombies to come out. Raven snickered, walking on, her jeans making a slight swishing sound as she moved. Shoving one hand in her pocket, Raven ran another threw her over heated hair. This is what she got for wearing black from head to toe.
Letting her hand fall down to her neck, Raven tugged on the black coller hooked around her neck. The dog coller twisted slightly, the chain hanging slight from the ring clattered. Moving swiftly, she started to walk past the two people. Raven fell downwind of them, the scent of wolf blasted up her nose so forcefuly she sneezed. Raven blinked, grazing the two with her emerald gaze. "Shifter" she muttered under her breath.

((Sorry, vaca's are a pain!))
Shifting her light body around so she could sit more comfortably on the bench, Cressek's eyes narrowed in curiosity. Should she have been in a clan? The red headed girl wondered. Was that what she should be doing with her time? Was her need for quiet time keeping her from a real future? Gently forcing the metal coins in her pockets to roll from their resting place, she brought them to a perfect stop on the ground in front of her. By now, there was no sign of people near thus side of the graveyard. Careful so not to wreck anything, she twisted the metal tokens, pressing them against each other until they were but a shimmering blob. Slowly, the liquid quivered and rose to a perfect shape of a lilly. Cressek let her mind fall; dropping her creation with a soft clang. Soon, it was lifted again, hovering in the still air. And then it was flying. The tree blocking the metal flowers path now held the beautiful object in it's bark. Cressek turned back to Ara. "I do not hold a clan position. I have wandered all my life."

Ava nodded understandably. It didn't matter either way to her whether this woman was in a clan or not. Okay, so maybe it did matter whether she was in a clan because, well she shouldn't really be so casual with some one from another clan, should she? She knew what it was like to be a loner. And it really wasn't her idea of a good time. She liked being able to be with people, to talk and laugh and eat together. It was way different than having to fend for yourself. She was definitely a pack person. Ava checked around them once more and saw that there was no one there. The cemetery closes at a certain time every night, and some rent-a-cop comes by to make sure no one is vandalizing anything. It was a hot spot for idiots bored enough or stupid enough to wreck such beautiful statues.
She sensed that they were not alone, though her eyes told her something different. She dismissed that however, keeping a sharp eye out for whatever she thought was there. "Ah, loner, eh? That's pretty cool. So, you live around her or just visiting?" she said, watching as Cressek made the metal lily. Waste of money, by her standards, but pretty nonetheless. She watched as the mental did it, melted the coins into a puddle in thin air and then shaping it into a lily. What was with this girl and lilies, she wondered. Perhaps it was like her favorite flower or something. Ava finished watching the woman and checked down the walkway only to see a young teen, wearing chains and a dog collar, walking towards them. By instinct, or perhaps by experience, Ava just knew this girl was a shifter or something of the like. She looked to Cressek, and jerked her thumb in the girls direction. "It's another shifter," she stated, turned to look, and then back at Cressek, "She seems nervous of us. Perhaps we should go and greet her?" She cocked an eyebrow at her friend, and in a flash, was facing the other shifter.
Ava smiled warmly "Hello there, love. Shouldn't you be in school or something?" She guessed she should have been in school, but she wasn't sure. Now, either she was truly goth or she was just trying to look scary. Maybe both. Either way, Ava wasn't really impressed. She, personally, did not like to stand out. She also didn't like wearing things that could later be used as a weapon against her. She could just imagine her getting into a fight with someone, and then that someone strangling her with one of her chains or stabbing her with her dog collar. It wouldn't be very pretty. She was especially kind to this particular one, for she was still young and looked pretty nervous, to her, anyway. She tried to make herself as non threatening as possible as she awaited the girls reply.

I've grown to colorblind to cease my bitching and I've grown to love the pain She had to fight hard to not fling herself backward when the shifter jumped infront of her. Raven pulled her hand out of her pocket, both of her hands pulled into tight fists, though she wasn't treatening, not on pourpose. raven had a very bad phobia that went along with anyone touching ehr, or threatening to touch her. Her emerald eyes narrowed to slits. "in school.... thats really the best you can come up with" she muttered under her breath, taking a calculated step backwards. Raven glared bayfully at the other shifter.
Raven wondered if she looked odd to this pair. A bedraggled kid, wandering threw the cemetary. "Its summer, lady" she snorted, her sarcasm infused voice low. Maybe she should run. Or shift. Her shoulders came up slight, hackles rising. Raven glanced over her shoulder, watching for an escape route. why was this shifter pretending to be nice? Why didnt she just rip her throat out and run? The girl leaned backwards, returning her attention to theshiffter. Raven let her cold expresion slide into place, deffiance and hate burning in ehr emerald eyes. "what do you want, dog?" she growled. Here comes a view I've seen a million times ,here comes a boring song with thoughtless rhymes, I know you're sick of me so tell me here, because you could have be the one ,to make it all disappear......

"Ooh, fiesty. How frightening." Cressek rose from her seat, her gift effortlessly plucking the lily from the tree. It flew quickly, straight towards her heart, but the pretty mentle caught it before damage could be done. She approached lightly and slowly, her steps a curious dance. As she moved, the lilly twisted in her hand, twisted and curled and straightened until a feathered spearow emerged. The bird struggeled from her hand, and when she let go, it spiralled upward, chirping in clear delight, before falling to hover above the newcomer. Cressek stopped beside Ava. "My dear, we feel not afraid of you, and you should not feel fear to us. Enough of this. My name is Cressek. I shift metal materials. You are not Cressek, though you seem to me, a shifter. Perhaps even a talented one?" Her gray eyes flashed with curiousity as Cressek moved forward a step, seemingly not paying any attention to the others at all. Her hand lifted and the strange little metal bird flew to her, landing as a small hunting falcon. The girl settled it on her shoulder and allowed it to nibble her flower crown. Cressek was very talented, and she knew it. After years of being alone, just her horse and herself, and winters spent in wild caves, perfecting her imagination, she had mastered her art. No one should be stupid enough to threaten her, and though she showed no interest in her physical surroundings at the moment, she found Ava and the girl very interesting. Almost impossibly.
